Read the write-up →As the market institutionalizes, we are observing that tokenization is not converging on one definitive rail. Instead, we are witnessing a fork. Public chains are where liquidity already lives and permissioned networks are where institutions get the confidentiality, roles and control they are used to. That split works for cash-like assets on one side and bounded institutional workflows on the other. The question that remains is what happens to the assets in between, like credit, collateral, restricted fund interests. Can they be composable? They are useful only if their constraints survive. That is where the thesis lands after the market map and the bottom-up sizing. Regardless of the technology, the missing piece will let constraints travel with the asset. Proof can move, but accountability won't.

For Shielded Technologies, I owned tokenization, compliance and governance through Midnight Network's mainnet launch. For IOG, seven years across protocol infrastructure, wallets, observability, identity and tokenization: standing up product operations, bootstrapping Project Catalyst into one of Web3's largest decentralized funding engines ($150M+ deployed across 84K+ community members), and shipping Hyperledger Identus, IOG's enterprise identity platform, to the Linux Foundation. Before that, trade finance at BNP Paribas CIB.
